Crawling and Cruising

Brinley Claire is officially a crawler! She still does a mix of army crawling and regular crawling...but over the last week she has gotten FAST and I think she deserves the title of "crawler". If Lily and I walk into her room and leave Brinley in the living room, we'll hear the loud clap of Brinley's hands on the laminate and then she'll be in Lily's room before we know it. About a month ago, Brinley started army crawling pretty well, but she hated it and kind of grunted the whole time. Now that Brinley has honed her skills, the grunts are few and far between and she is enjoying her new skill. I spent a good part of my weekend trying to catch Brinley in action. Having little to no photography skills, the majority of these pictures are blurry. But here's my little mover and shaker! Crawling and cruising whenever she can....

(Yes, there is a kiddie pool in the living room, lol).

Mama is proud of my little girl for gaining some new skills! I'm in denial that she'll likely be walking in the fall sometime-crazy! I can't even picture it! For now, I'm going to enjoy this new stage of crawling. And maybe find some pants with cute animals on the butt for BC to sport, hehe.
