Brinley Claire- 10 months

On Wednesday, July 10th, my baby girl hit 10 months...double digits! She has changed so much over the last month. While she is still bald, I like to think there is slightly more hair on top. She still has only her two teeth bottom teeth...the first came around May 29th and the second about a week later (at 8.5 months). By 9.5 months, Brinley morphed from an army crawler to a regular crawler. Each day, she gets faster and faster! If we leave her in the living room and go to our bedroom, we turn around and she's right there with us.

We were a month late getting Brinley's 9 month check-up, so she had her appt yesterday right after she hit 10 months old. She weighed 22 pounds (85th percentile, down from 95th) and was only the 3rd percentile for height?! I'm not sure how accurate that is. I'm curious if she'll still be that short at her 12 month visit. And I think she will continue to slim down given how incredibly active she is now. We can't even change her diapers on the floor anymore, because she quickly rolls over and crawls away.

Other than crawling, Brinley is pulling up on EVERYTHING! Tonight she actually stood by herself for 3 or 4 seconds before falling on her bottom. That was the first time we've seen her do that. Brinley will walk if she has at least one finger to hold and she doesn't need the other hand held. I'm starting to think she might start walking a little earlier than Lily did (13 months,1 week)...but who knows. :)

Weight 22 lbs (85th percentile)

Diapers- size 5

Teeth- 2

Signs- Brinley has mastered the signs for more, milk, and bye-bye. She also blows kisses and claps on request.

Words- Mama, dada, yah, baba

Food- she loves everything we give her (except the lemon she tried a few days ago, hehe).

Skills- crawling, cruising furniture, assisted walking, walking around with push toys, feeding herself, taking ALL headbands and hats off  (boo!)

Favorite songs- Patty Cake, anything in Spanish, Angels Watching Over Me

Favorite books- Brinley really likes anything you read to her at this point...she enjoys lift-the-flap book and anything with pictures of babies. Her book "Baby Talk" combines both of these,  so we read that a lot.
