Lightening the Mood...

OK, after feeling like I should finally put Lily's full birth story on the blog yesterday, its time I lighten the mood and talk about the excellence that is fall tv!! Whats everyone watching? If you know me, you know that nothing makes me happier than good shows to come to after a long day at work and the nugget (now nuggets are fast asleep). SO, let me say, best new shows of the fall in my opinion- The Good Wife (legal drama) and Nashville (country music drama). Both are so addicting. I swear if The Good Wife came out when I was in undergradat UF, I might have seriously considered law school and followed in my dad's footsteps. However, after watching the show you dont want to do something boring like editing and indexing the Florida statutes for the state Legislature. NO. You want to get your law firm out of 20 million dollars of debt and bankrupcy simple by your intellect and ability to find loop holes in the opposing counsil's case. Basically, I'm saying that I want to be Julliana Margulies, (minus the wayward cheating politician of a husband, of course.) Its a great show.

Now the show Nashville has been deemed by EW (Entertainment Weekly, Clint's Bible) as the show to watch as it draws emmy buzz. Who knew Hayden Penetierre was such a good singer?? And who (that watches the show) knew that cheesy Telescope song was real and not just for the show? I heard it on the radio and Clint's shazam on his iPhone (sorry Betsy, dont be jealous!) confirmed that it was in fact Hayden singing and that the song was called Telescope. Huh. Of the songs that Hayden, Connie, and the blonde girl have sung, my favorite has been the one by the blonde girl in the duet. "Fall Into You" I think it was called- beautiful. The plots, acting, and music of this show make it a must see!

I'm also endorsing X Factor, The Voice, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, Married to Jonas (guiltypleasure!), and Watch What Happens Live with Bravo Andy as contendors for good fall entertainment. I also try not to miss Chelsea Lately and Wendy Williams, but I'm only human. :)
