Christmas Photo Outtakes + Santa

I tried on several occasions to get some good Christmas photos this year to use on Christmas cards. Pretty much all of the photos we got could fall into the "outtake"category, so I figured I should just embrace them and hope for greater success next year. (And actually Paige did get one good family shot good enough for Christmas cards, but otherwise, I'm swimming in a sea of silly pictures.)

Glad I have these pictures to remember Brinley's First Christmas, even if they're not what I envisioned.

Addendum: The girls met Santa for the first time on Sunday 12/9/12 and I think I was secretly hoping the pictures would be bad so I could add them to this post. Well, what do you know? Lily hated Santa, lol. Personally, I was delighted that my mom's church, Good Shepherd, chose a thin, young, black Santa. He was fantastic. He sporadically let out "Ho, Ho, Ho's!" in his best Santa voice while visiting with adults. He was easy going with my bratty toddler and generous with the free candy canes. In my book, it was way better than waiting in line to see a mall Santa any day! We were one of two families with kids who saw Santa at the 9 am pancake breakfast...cant beat that. :)
