This year we celebrated Lily's 2nd and Brinley's 1st Halloween. We learned a lesson in staying flexible when plans are dependent upon the moods of your 20 month old and newborn. While we didnt get to trick-or-treat with Kim and Amanda's boys (Finley, Jackson, and Jasper) like we planned, we still got a visit from them, a visit from the Bootens, and a visit from my fabulous friend Paula. We were hoping Ashleigh-Anne and Kyndall and some of our cousins (the Coste family) might also make it over after Morningside's Trunk or Treat, but a tired toddler and car problems happened, so we will see them all another time soon I'm sure. My friend Kim's parents live in my neighborhood, so I think they have come by our house for all 4 of Finley's Halloweens after he sees his grandparents. Last year we had a great time hitting about 10 houses with them for Lily's 1st Halloween. I'd post a picture of Lily as a tiger and Finley as Thor from 2011, but it was taken with my old blackberry and isnt on my computer. Instead, heres are some photo from earlier in the day when we went to the Burches to see Cooper in costume.

This year I decided I wanted Lily in something girlier and something that came in her sister's size too so they could match, We went with the (very affordable) Old Navy cupcakes. We were so worn out on Halloween that we didnt even bother dressing the baby up or attempting pictures of the girls together, oh well! Here are a few pictures we took on Halloween.
The best pictures I got are on my iPhone. In order to get those on my blog, I guess that involves emailing them to myself and then downloading them to my computer, and then uploading them to my blog?? Whew, that may not happen!
Hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween! Welcome to the holiday season...Thanksgiving will be here before we know it and then those Christmas lights will start emerging and Christmas time will be here. Maybe I'll get some energy and a regular sleep schedule back by Christmas?!
